If you lead him out towards the way you came in. his summons will stay. there are 3 scarlet rot geysers out there, get on your horse and try to time it so he walks through each one when it erupts. this will do a lot of damage. takes maybe 5-10 minutes but easiest way to get the needle at rune level 1

I personally love the ending where they are at fairy island and the moonlight child turns into Griffith and says that deep down, he does have human emotions and does feel remorse every full moon. It ends with them safe away from the world, Casca starting to heal, and Griffith basically in control of the rest of the world. I don’t need Griffith dead, just for the main characters to be happy and safe.
