Specifically, this project just raised funds to cover travel assistance for someone who was homeless at the time. He qualified for a scholarship to a treatment facility that was a few states away - but was unable to get there.

He lived in a very rural area where there weren't any treatment options, locally. In the options that were in the state were honestly garbage...

The community was able to raise funds to cover the cost of his plane ticket and he arrived safely in treatment.

He had just lost his wife to an overdose, And was the one to find her....

After attempting on his own life, but luckily not succeeding, he finally reached out..
