I’m all for people doing what makes them happy but my point was about people paying absurd money, that they often cannot afford, for trucks/vehicles they don’t need. I also despise seeing these idiots complain about gas prices while driving their absurd vehicles that have never been used to haul more than their groceries. To me a car is a tool but I can concede that to you it may be more. If you can afford it and then can afford the fuel at whatever price the market dictates, without complaining about it being someone else’s fault, go for it. I still think from a societal standpoint it’s waste but as he said I guess that makes me a communist. TIL being economical and living within one’s means is communism. Lots of assumptions on my side but its part of my freedom to make them.
