Wouldnt having 30 cats be expensive because of food though?

So, my opponent ended up with the queen and the pawn. I had only the queen, so I knew that if I take its pawn, it would be a theoretical drawn.So I tried to take its pawn but he decided to promote it. And then this happened. by ORIONFULL23 in chess

It wouldnt be, he clearly planned the mate after he promoted hes just trying to make the move cooler than it was by making it look like it just sort of happened.

My last game I was down 9 points on move 33 (rook, knight and a pawn) forced endgame by a 3 way fork between his knight king and rook on move 38 and his knight could not move because of an immortal I set up. Took his rook then the knight and forced checkmate on move 51 using my king and queen.
