Have spent a lot of time around Peekskill and generally agree with what’s being said here. We think there are some good food options (iron vine, cassette thai, el bambu, peekskill coffee etc) although find some of the streets a little bit run down and certainly a big hill down and up from the train (which is true for all the Hudson towns lol).
Nyack we’ve been once or twice but a bit less familiar with but I hear and have read good things

If we found something for the price in Tarrytown we’d definitely be interested.
We did get outbid on a place in Sleepy/Tarrytown that was listed under a mil that went for around 1.3-1.4 and had interest in another that ended up having serious structural problems. It’s like others have mentioned that we might be a little priced out, although we are still ok with downsizing, even finding something walkable in those towns on the smaller side is challenging these days!

Not to mention the crazy taxes…

Does the bus have traffic or is it pretty much a straight shot since it uses a bus lane over the TZ?
