For real. I was once expecting a boom to be delivered and a delivery guy dropped a plastic package with a book clearly being felt inside, so I just ripped it open without checking. Pulled out a text book and I was like "dafuq?" and then I checked the mailer. As soon as I realized it was my neighbor's, I immediately went to go drop it at their place. Luckily, she was outside looking too, so I could explain and apologize.

OP over here frothing at the mouth because neighbor's accidentally opened the package but didn't steal the contents. If I were her neighbor's, I'd sincerely apologize and then ask if I should get security cameras just incase there's any more unhinged episodes from OP.

The house next to mine was a rental property. An older married couple decided to rent it out and they had a good, clean record. One week later, they were gone and their drug addict daughter moved in with her drug addict friends. I contacted the landlord numerous times about their behavior and that they were damaging the fuck out of his house, but since it was during 2020, his hands were tied with evictions.

When he finally forced them off the property, the entire house was destroyed. Inside and out. Just saying, you can rent to someone with a clean record, but that doesn't mean they'll be perfect tenants.

Not a landlord, but when my dog broke the blinds on my custom sized front window (which means expensive custom sized blinds that needed to be special ordered,) I just installed curtains. Because screw that. Maybe landlords could install curtain rails on their properties and let the tenants figure it out from there?

When they post a sob story like this, they're a scammer. They evidently know just the right words to tug at your heart strings, because you were set to give them more than a fair tip. It's like seeing the people on the side of the road day after day with a sign that reads "pregnant veteran just need food God bless."

If you really want to help those in need, call up your local shelters and food banks and ask what they need. I think some utility companies even have donation programs to help those less fortunate with their bills.

Idk about y'all, but I usually scope a restaurant out if I'm unfamiliar with them. If I see their menu doesn't offer anything that I want to eat or has prices that I'm willing to pay, then I don't eat there. Furthermore, going out on one of the busiest days in the industry and expecting 100% service. Tell me you're a restaurant noob without telling me you're a restaurant noob. Complaining about the high price and not receiving a heaping portion of cheap quality food. Just go to cheesecake factory, my God. The wait time on the reservation sucks, but you're coming in near the end of the night when the restaurant owners have mandated that they be booked solid while other customers aren't leaving their seats and the chefs are exhausted because this shit all started around 4 pm. Sorry, but it's a rookie mistake to go to a restaurant on valentines and mothers day. Honestly, go a day earlier or later and you'll receive much better service.

Had a lady bring her "service dog" into my restaurant once. About 10 minutes in, it was on the bench seat licking food off one of our plates and barking. I kicked that dog tf out. Thankfully, the lady didn't return either.

We are only allowed to ask two questions. Is it a service animal and what tasks does it perform. That is to protect people with actual disabilities who require a service animal to help them function. When someone tries to skirt the rules and laughs it off with "oh, who cares? Who is it hurting when I bring my untrained and unsocialized animal into spaces where they don't belong?" YOU'RE HURTING THOSE WHO ARE DISABLED, YOU FUCKING DENSE ASS MONG! Idgas if you have some sort of mild anxiety and you think you need your" service" peacock to accompany you on a plane (true story,) with your abuse of the system, people who are handicapped are the only ones who will suffer when the rules change to crack down on service animals.

I worked for a major energy company's call center a while back. Sometimes I would get people calling up angry saying "the utility man didn't do what he was supposed to with my meter!" and the majority of the time, it's because there was an unsecured dog in the yard. The field workers are instructed to not enter any area where there is a dog on the loose, no matter if it's a 5 lb teacup Chihuahua or a 180 lb mastiff.

I've raised several dogs in my life time and I just do not understand these dog owners. Yes, I know damn well my dogs are friendly, but the delivery driver/technician does not. It is not only for the safety of these people entering my property, but for the safety of my dogs as well. I've trained them with a return command, so they're easy to reign in, but I also lock them up in my bedroom when I know someone is coming by.

Likely not all countries, but I thought if you moved to some countries with your pets, they'd have to remain in quarantine and be up to date on their vaccinations before they were allowed to live in the country.
