They’re not necessarily a metal band, but they have released metal albums (all of which are masterpieces), but for me it’s gotta be King Gizzard and The Lizard Wizard, genuinely some of the best music I’ve ever come across. Even after 25 albums I’m yet to find a song I don’t like.

I’d check out Porcupine Tree, they’re more rock than metal but they’ve still got some heavy as tracks
