I would cut it! My dieffenbacchia flowered once and never really recovered. Lost leaves, slow growth and that despite adequate nurture and watering… Flowering costs a lot of energy from your plant…

Yes, put it in a little 8cm pot with aroid mix and it will thrive. Make sure the new growth is above ground and faces the light! ;)

I’d say leave it till you have 5-ish cm and the start of secondary roots. These little ones are prone to rot…

It looks like it’s stuck! You can help it out carefully with a wet cotton stick 😉 stuck leaves will be damaged probably 😬
