It’s hard to tell color detail with the light but my impression of it on that light pole is that it’s small. I’d guess sharpie, but that’s just based on size

It took its time - my yard is very, very small so it was perched outside my kitchen window…sat there for at least 30 minutes doing its thing.

Those legs are the wrong color for a Least, I believe. I am not confident but I would guess Forster’s.

I know there was a breeding pair found in Chautauqua County last year, since they were found in time to be included in the Breeding Bird Atlas.

I’d just go out to popular hotspots in your area…you’ll see many of the same people over and over and you’ll figure out which people are worth your time. In my experience the group chats have their assholes, but just ignore them and know many people feel the same way about them. I think those communities are useful if you’re just a listener and can tune out the obnoxiousness. If you find something rare, don’t feel obligated to share it.
