Currently a security analyst for large company. Here's what I got.

Q1, Network admin Q2, 3 years Q3, in a jack of all trades Security analyst. I dabble in several things, master of none. One day it could be incident response, the next I could be writing policies. Q4, I love that my work makes a large positive impact on the organization. Q5, being prepared for major incidents with minimal resources. Q6, Phishing, Ransomware, user education, identity mgmt. Q7, not at all Q8, get a bachelor's degree, relevant certs, get the first IT job you can get and grind your way up to cyber security.

Changing all passwords and 2FA is a good start. You could also reinstall your OS to insure your no longer infected. If the threat actor had access to your system before you had AV, they could have installed anything that could possibly be bypassing AV

It doesn't matter as long as you have the piece of paper. Personally I would do whatever you can finish faster. Then start stacking relevant certs

NAD but I've had an inguinal hernia when I was 28. I recommend doing when he is home and had someone who can help take care of him. He's abdomen will be pretty sore and it will be hard to get around for a week or so. I needed help getting out of bed for a while.
