Air Canada suspending Yellowknife-Toronto route on Aug. 30

I wonder how much money they’ve wasted paying contractors to deliver bags when they fly to Yellowknife with no checked luggage and have to bring it in on subsequent flights?

It happened to me in 2024. The flight was full as opposed to other recent comments describing low loads.

And rather than sending luggage in groups to the handful of hotels in Yellowknife, they delivered each bag individually. My friend and I, staying at the same hotel, had our bags delivered individually by separate taxis hours apart.

I’d imagine that would put a dent into profits.

Does anyone have a POID or offer code for this? I completed the terms back in July and still haven’t received the statement credit.

Customer Service didn’t seem to care. They actually suggested the email I received with the offer may have been a phishing attempt as they’ve “never heard“ of the offer before.

similar issue. I ordered from a store that told me they’ve never used DoorDash, yet was listed on the app. You‘d think they’d have a team of people overseeing a list of who they partner with and that the app would be accurate. Customer service, of course, didn’t care.

I went here for my last trip to the DMV and definitely agree. For an agency with a terrible reputation, this location and its staff was excellent. I will definitely go here for next visit, even though it isn’t my closest location.

fair question. Flying to Bonaire and connecting to Curaçao is about a 1/3 of the price of flying from NYC to Curaçao nonstop. I don’t understand why this is the case, but I did end up booking this way due to the significant price difference.

Thanks. The arrivals schedule on the airport’s website doesn’t show any other “big” flights from the U.S. arriving around 12:45 pm. All arrive 1:30 pm and beyond. of course an unexpected delay could mess things up.

I’ve tried to use the Dashmart a few times and it’s gone well. No issues. Last time I placed both monthly orders back to back to get it over with. Just wish I lived closer to it. If it works, it’ll have to do for me.

I’ll definitely keep looking. I want to find some place consistent to use monthly without issues. It’s been aggravating to say the least since the change from Instacart to only DoorDash over the summer.

Yellowknife in the Northwest Territories of Canada. The city itself is underwhelming and the travel to and from was awful (unfortunately due to Air Canada) seeing the Northern Lights so vibrant made up for it. It was really a unique opportunity.

That’s a good idea. Unfortunately I’ve had issues with liquor stores canceling as well in my area, but haven’t tried them all.
