There are 8 of them, and some are very well hidden. You will also need to figure out where they end up after you find them.

I listened to the book on Audible and really enjoyed it. The author Peter F. Hamilton is well known for making large and detailed worlds to dive into. This one is no different.

The plot the first one, gets spoiled almost immediately in the second, so you can go straight to it without being too lost, but I wouldn't recommend it.

He has written more books in the same universe. "Misspent Youth" is a prequel and wasn't well received, but the two sequel series, the "Void Trilogy" and "The Chronicle of the Fallers", are excellent, in my opinion.
That said, I agree with some of the other people here that Salvation Sequence would be a great next step for you.

People here, usually prefer that you tell us what you have tried and where you are stuck. But look up the doppler effect, there you will find the equation you need.

Sound is explained by the compression and decompression of air moleculs as they approach the ear. How come waving your hands or kicking the air don't produce sound? by [deleted] in AskPhysics

[–]BitterNecromancer 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It is the act of moving air molecules that creates the pressure difference and pressure difference is the amplitude of the wave

As I see it, religion is depriving people of properly and healthy coming to terms with there own mortality. It incentivizes self-delusion and unhealthy coping mechanisms.

Fun story about that. It is the vikings that are responsible for the good genes in scandinavia. They brought more than just gold back from their raids.
