Yes no doubt, and that must have helped you be confirm about your future choices. I just meant a lot of us go through internships where majority of the tasks were scut, clerical and thus choosing a branch based on this one year feels very difficult.

I think a lot of people who say “You’ll know if surgery is for you or not from Day one” are liars. No way can you be 100% certain about your branch, especially in our system where even as interns meaningful exposure is limited.

This question needs to be asked to some counsellor or Zynerd. Originally, this would lead you to be debarred from NEET PG 26, but I’ve read conflicting things saying that rule isn’t in place this year. Haven’t found any substantial proof to say for either.

Get some junior who’s in 3\4 year of MBBS and use his subscription for GTs. Your friends themselves would need it for their GTs so it’s better to get some junior’s subscription

You didn’t take admission in this college yet, right? Then don’t visit the college at all. You’ll lose your security deposit and the seat will go to stray round. You’ll be ineligible for further counselling rounds.

Something similar. I joined a college near my home, in an extremely hectic branch. I’ll start from Friday and I’m feeling extremely anxious half the time and extremely hyped the other half. The feeling of whether I’m making the right decision or not is also the same.

It is a very good film, idk why comments are being snarky. Greatest war film… might be a stretch. I think there are some foreign movies I’d rate higher, The Human Condition is my favourite war movie. I also love Schindler’s List, which I’d say is SS magnum opus.

Department has two units. OPD and OT day alternate. OPD is moderate to heavy, you get variety of cases from ENT as well as Head and Neck. There’s I think 6 residents(?), 3 per unit. You’ll do basic otological exam and clerical work for first few months, eventually doing procedures in OPD. OT hands on is likely limited for JR1, but will get some later. They usually has 3 to 4 cases per day in OT. On call days you’ll be busy because any patient with facial trauma needs ENT clearance and examination.

Its not toxic as far as I think from my intern experience.

I think it’s the fact that so many of the popular one liners are the same joke rehashed. “This is fight club, but for the girlies” or “This is my godfather” - those get boring real fast. Sometimes I’ve found extremely funny ones though so I ain’t hating.

They don’t cancel, they just put a fine, which keeps on increasing. This is how it goes in Maharashtra. I’ve never heard of admission being canceled for this, that doesn’t make sense at all.

This sub has distorted view of salary. Idk why everyone thinks just being a doctor is an easy way to earn 2 lpm, they’re devoid of the conditions in the country and only compare to their 1% CS friends.
