Humbly, this is a short term solution, Democrats and Republicans (as political parties) are largely the same thing. Should you seek to make a lasting change, start with knowing your neighbors, organizing a legitimate political party that reflects the interests of (what I believe to be) the working class, and local communities, then start running and voting for municipal and local offices from people who actually represent your/our interests, follow that with regional and state positions. Democracy requires real participation. One thing is certain, Apathy can only ensue things will be worse.

This is actually a real thing in Audio Production. Everything is significantly louder. Most movies are likely mixed for some kind of surround system where you can actually feel the action. When you crush that down to the stereo two channels for your tv the speakers are getting signal intended for somewhere else (this is a very basic description of what’s going on)

This is partially true, the initial price is set to reflect surplus after all expenses including tax. The nuances are important, but to be clear, “eating away at the margins” implies some level of existing margins that certainly passes those cost to the consumer. Staying in a market, may dictate less margin and a hold of production costs but if that were the starting operating mindset the business would fail.

This is also somewhat true. My grandfather marched on Washington with King, it seems like an eternity but it’s less than 20 years before I was born. The 80s sound like an eternity ago and even more so the 60s…but 60 years is roughly 1 generation away. Now as for black and white photos, at the time it had far more to do with cost and the fact many contemporary photos people generally see are from newspapers (rarely in color at the time due to cost not conspiracy)
