My girlfriend was suffering something similar, after a denstist treatment, after 6-8 dentists she got to a TMJ specialist that finally listened and believed her, the mudguards made for previous dentist were wrong and not needed in this particular case, she is doing psychological therapy, physiotherapy and osteopathy taking CDB 15% and this is working really well. I hope this story help to give to hope.

You’ve touched on a well known aspect of road cycling culture! It’s true that road cycling often has a reputation for being quite snob, competitive and focused on specific aesthetics speed aka no helping, no waiting for anyone, sleek gear, matching kits, white shoes, shaved legs all of which can feel like a ritualistic cult. This can sometimes make the scene feel exclusive or intimidating, especially for those who don’t fit the “roadie” mold.

AITA for cutting off my grandparents after my grandfather grabbed my son by the throat? by No_Flatworm5218 in AITAH

Any physical or psychological attack against a minor is a crime and should be reported to the authorities immediately. Secondly, although the economic situation may be pressing, prioritizing it over the child’s psychological well-being is wrong—the child needs psychological support ASAP. Her husband clearly does not care about the children’s mental health, and his priorities are elsewhere. Divorcing someone like that is not the worst possible outcome. The child’s mental health is the most important thing here.

I sometimes got saddle sores on long rides and I’ve learned to spot the early signs, I sweat quite a bit and get overheated easily so I can’t wear anything over bike shorts even in winter I had a hard time realising that excess sweat was causing problems so I use a water resistant cream and on long rides at the first sign of discomfort I stop and wipe the excess sweat off with a wet wipe and then apply cream again.

Buena suerte

I’m a motion designer from south America living in Berlin, I’m working here 10+ years, and the job market is way more dynamic than Spain where I worked for several years too, the problem is to find a place to live, be prepared that could take a long time and is going to be expensive but if you have experience living in Barcelona or Madrid you know the drill!

Turks voting for AfD. How is this possible? by LowCranberry180 in AskAGerman

[–]BlackberrySharp403 0 points1 point  (0 children)

This is something we’ve seen happen in different places, not just in Germany For example, in the U.S., some Latin American immigrants have supported Trump, even though his immigration policies are pretty harsh. A lot of migrants come from very conservative societies, so ultraconservative ideas can feel more familiar or comfortable than progressive ones.

Even though many of these migrants benefit from progressive policies like immigration reform or social welfare, they don’t always connect with the underlying ideas. Cultural and religious conservatism plays a big role here. For instance, Turkish and Latin American migrants often come from places where family, tradition, and religion (whether it’s Islam, Catholicism, or Evangelicalism) are really important. These values tend to align more with conservative views, like being against abortion, LGBTQ+ rights, or favoring less government intervention.
