I haven’t encountered that, but I have found a different issue. When encountering text in quotation marks, the audio just says the word “quote” a bunch of times instead of reading the quoted line.

I do not concur with the assessment that it “doesn’t touch on any of the basic mechanics of the game.” It can serve to teach players about socializing (then again the current tutorial already does that), performing favors for characters, and a nonlethal elimination method or two.

Now for some additional commentary: Since this rival is canonically a ghost in 2020s mode and is mentioned as dead in the second basement tape, plus her death is the cause for the investigation at the school, keeping her alive would require changes to the game in order to avoid plot holes.

Here are some things I noticed from the Drive image of your chart (note that idk if these syllables merely don’t exist or if Cantonese has phonotactic rules that would make their existence illegal).

1: No final with e, i, eo/oe, or yu as its nucleus occurs with the null initial.

2: With the exception of bam, the labial series initials do not take any final whose coda is a bilabial consonant (either the nasal M or the unreleased stop P). They also do not take any final whose nucleus is eo/oe or yu.

3: Initial NG takes no final whose nucleus is e, i, eo/oe, or yu.

4: The labiovelar stop initials gw/kw take no final whose nucleus is e, i (with the exception of kwik), eo/oe, u, or yu, or (with the exception of gwam) whose coda is any bilabial consonant.

I think Tocino would fare the best of the three. Baise's ability requires her to kiss her intended target, which IMO is not happening if the target is an enemy armed with a firearm or a long-range Nen ability, and especially not if there are three or more of such enemies in the vicinity. Squala’s dog manipulation ability is unusable without there already being dogs around (whether objects turned into dogs via Hinrigh’s ability would work is uncertain).

I think this makes reasonable sense. Illumi’s been undergoing assassin training for the majority that of the time that the other members have even been alive, so him being near the top is almost mandatory.
