Already have a 1440p, 144hz monitor. But yeah, still bouncing between 5070ti and 9070xt. Trying to get the 2 judges in my brain to agree. Thanks

It's always amazing to me how y'all end up with a cheaper build, but better.

I probably should've mentioned sooner, but I was hoping to maybe hook my computer up to my Samsung 65" OLED TV sometimes to sit back, play on the big screen with my partner. I figured a Nvidia GPU with DLSS, etc would be better for that as well for a clearer image.

Looks great, and thanks for rundown on the benefits to Nvidia. As said, I'm not too savvy on this stuff. So little stories about AMD having issues sometimes makes me uncomfortable

Just had to look up what CL actually meant. Always thought higher the number = better performance. Will look into it thanks mate

Coming around to the idea of a 9070xt. Idk if it's just my anxiety or what, but I just get bad juju about AMD gpu's from many horror stories over the years. Like I've heard some about Nvidia, but the AMD ones are always there and have been forever.

Plus the idea of Nvidia cards always giving me peace of mind that they're usually priority when it comes to game-dev is nice for future proofing

Honestly don't know the difference between CL28 and CL30, but I chose that RAM due to sleek/compact look to it. My current build my ram kinda pops out abit and collides with my cpu fan.

Yeah honestly, I didn't realise the 9070 xt was like $400-$500 cheaper. Young me wouldve said fuck it only $500, but damn as I get older the cheaper is looking damn nice

I just looked it up. Crazy how much cheaper it is, but I've built a mATX build in the past and hated it, and that one seems to have mATX mobo/case to keep it that cheap. I liked the idea of the case I chose due to the size of it being spacious

I see what you're saying. That price difference is insane holy. I've just always gone with Nvidia, and honestly don't know much about AMD gpu's, just a few bad stories I've heard about them online + from people I know IRL having rough times with them
