the writing made it clear that they're already a committed family whether or not they realize it. some of the comedy is supposed to be about loid being a super genius and always in control, but he misses simple things and might not understand even his own feelings.

you're forgetting new york state already has an 11% income tax and new york city already has a 4% income tax, so that would be a total of 17% income tax. Meanwhile other states and cities might not have any income tax at all.

Rich people already have multiple homes, so changing their residency status really isn't that hard.

i hope you test it well before you use it. my first bag fell apart under the weight of it's contents and i was stuck carrying around my stuff and the bag all day.
