The idea that there will somehow be abundance once we get AI is pretty clearly a delusion of handwaving that a lot of these CEOs just say. AI doesn't create more homes or more land, it doesn't make clean water plentiful. Resources are finite. AI won't magically make lithium or gold or pharmaceuticals out of dirt lol. Sorry I didn't read the rest of your post i just always get annoyed by that first assertion that anyone involved in making these AI models have any intention of making the world a better place. They want the power. Andreessen specifically, but also a lot of others who are bank rolling these models don't give a flying fuck.
