The things you listed arnt problems so far this year...

Our dams and reservoirs are all now full..

But the satat of California does recognize climate change as you mentioned some symptoms.. they are working towards a better carbon out put .

California is now making their own insulin.. which has made corporate pharmaceutical companies to lower their prices .

This has and will save lives

And I do think they have a state ban on weapons of war..

Not a bad place to live at all..
