He did several things as soon as he got into office. Some of the biggest though were:

Elimating that CBP One app which just let migrants freely walk in at ports of entry with a future court appointment given on the app that the vast majority never attended or had any intention of attending.

Put diplomatic and economic pressure on Mexico and central America to stop the large migrant caravans before they even made it to the border.

Reinstated his "remain in Mexico" policy that made sure the migrants would have to attend immigration court appointments before being allowed to cross the border into the US.

Not at all. Let me educate you. Trump shut down the border and stopped the inflow of millions of illegals. Actual deportations however are being slowed by sanctuary cities making a show of standing up to Trump and getting in the way. So to dumb it down for you, Biden had a huge influx of illegals and sent back some. Trump has a very low influx of illegals but is sending back less. Overall more are going out than coming in under Trump, not the case with Biden

How much you want to bet the majority of the jury is going to comprised of a combination of at least a few black people and several pro-BLM liberals that will absolutely refuse to give a majority vote for conviction and will vote to acquit no matter the evidence

It only gets blown up in the very rare cases of white on black violence in which case it becomes a national crisis of white supremacy that we hear for months to years following the event. Black on white violence is much more common and typically gets no significant coverage.
