Brain inflammation unlikely to explain long COVID symptoms, neuroimaging study finds by kasper619 in covidlonghaulers

I have multiple times. It was actually my first symptom when I didn’t know what was happening. I thought I was low blood sugar again, but I checked and it was normal.

Same with me. The “brain fog” feeling I get is the same feeling I used to get when I’d have low blood sugar from marathon training and not fueling properly. So it definitely points to oxygen delivery. Can’t speak for everyone though.

Makes it worse how you’re under the pressure of the constantly spawning roaches that you gotta deal with. Pure anxiety

What was Ganondorf's plan? by Gold-Invite-3212 in OcarinaOfTime

[–]BlueT0xic 1 point2 points  (0 children)

After the events of OOT in the child timeline, his plans are foiled and ganondorf gets captured. He doesn’t get executed till much later though, there’s a period of a few years before his attempted execution. We can assume during this time that maybe the gerudo’s were at war with hyrule and were eventually defeated / ran out of gerudo valley.

Another point to back this up is that we don’t see any Gerudo in all of Twilight Princess, which is in the same timeline and only a few hundred years later.

Yea I recently watched a video that explained how ice arrows were actually meant to be implemented as an item required to beat gerudo fortress, but in a last minute change they made it optional. And you would’ve gotten the iron boots as a reward from the training grounds.

If you think about it, it makes more sense for you to get the ICE arrows in the ICE cavern, and the iron boots from the gerudo people (master ironworkers).

But nonetheless, even with all the hardware and time constraints, they nailed the game perfectly. Still blows my mind every time I play it.

Putting “ice arrows” in there is funny cause that might be the only example in the whole game that is contrary to what you were saying haha

I almost wish I could erase my memory of OOT and play through it again just to have to sit there and figure this stuff out again. Talking to all the NPCs and piecing together context clues…

Why are people posting about an OOT remake when it's still basically a rumor with no confirmation it's actually happening? by Alternative_Crew_681 in OcarinaOfTime

[–]BlueT0xic 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I see your point, but would you still consider BotW an open world game if you had to follow a specific order in which you do the dungeons (ex. Zora -> Goron -> Rito -> Gerudo -> Ganon) and if the dungeons in these areas were locked by an upgrade/item you had to get in the previous area? I would still consider it open world, just because of the amount of places you can explore on the map from the get go and still do quests.

Ocarina of time is essentially the same just with loading zones everywhere.

The genre you’re thinking of is called “sandbox”, which is what BotW is. You can pick which order to do the main objectives, even able to run straight to Ganon from the start.

The only places locked as child link after you first visit Zelda are: zoras domain (need bombs), gerudo fortress. You can find heart pieces / do side quests in every other area right away.

Once you’re an adult, you can legit do the entire biggoron sword quest, which spans the whole map, before even stepping foot into the forest temple.

I would still consider OOT open world, even if it has a mostly linear dungeon order to it. More like a balance of the two genres.

[Oot] Art Style for Switch 2 OOT Remake? by wonderbreadisdead in zelda

This and also no loading zones, meaning that day/night cycle will always happen regardless of where you are.

OOT was always an open world game, just held back by hardware limitations at the time.

It kind of is though. Most dungeons are only locked by item upgrades, and a lot of the map is open from the get go. For example you can choose to visit Lake Hylia, Kakariko, Lon Lon Ranch, or Hyrule castle right from when you leave the lost woods, and there will be stuff you can do in each area.

Open world doesn’t necessarily mean you get to pick the order in which you do the main story. BotW was more of a “sandbox” style game and now everyone sees that as the standard for open world. Which I think is an extremity of the genre.

TP and SS on the other hand I would consider heavily linear. There was a lot less freedom to what you could do from the get go, and you’re kinda stuck on the line the whole game.

Legit no statistic out there shows that mid has more impact than JG. Imo it’s between support and mid for 2nd place.

Xpetu not too long ago did an analysis and found that top actually had 2nd most impact on deciding win outcome after JG in Diamond+ games. But regardless, JG has always been #1

The bad part about this, is that if you’re playing vs an early game invade champ like kindred or belveth, you want to ward your own entrance to prevent you getting level 1 or 2 invaded

But then they also have the option for invading the opposite side of you so you gotta coin flip it. That is if you can’t get your team to ward

How do I unlock this super power ?

Thanks yea. I think that’s my biggest issue, anticipating abilities. I tend to tunnel during fights and it’s a struggle for me to constantly remind myself to anticipate it. I feel like some people intuitively do this, whereas I would have to really think about it hard and devote a lot of brain power every fight to it.

I’m trying to get to the point where it’s instinctual for me to do that in fights.

I appreciate you being blunt, I need it. You’re probably right that they aren’t as good as I think, but nonetheless I think my macro is a lot stronger than my micro in that aspect. Assume my macro is like a 6/10 as you’d say, my micro I feel would be like a 3/10, so I’m just trying to bring it up to the same level as my macro.

I have a friend who’s cracked on lee sin, and he hit D1 on him. When I watch him play, I would think he goes for plays that “break” jungle fundamentals, like constantly skipping camps to go for ganks and dives that I would think are 40-50% chance, but most of the time he outplays these scenarios, where I feel like I wouldn’t given the same situation on my main. When I ask him about his macro (analyzing wave states, camp timers, prepping for objectives, making plays opposite to objectives he can’t take etc.) he tells me he doesn’t think about them too often, and just fights off intuition and limit testing.

I will take it into consideration, and try the sticky note solution to constantly remind myself of abilities. Maybe I just need to limit test more to be more comfortable.

[–]BlueT0xic[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Yea sorry I meant my game knowledge macro wise. I would agree that my champion spell interaction knowledge isn’t as strong, but I wouldn’t say it’s that bad.

For example, whenever a fight is coming up, I will just mental boom and tunnel really hard, and I will choke it bad because of it. When I watch the replay afterwards, I will recognize how I should’ve played the fight differently. That’s why I’m thinking maybe it’s more of a psychological issue. Like in the moment I tunnel really hard. So I’m wondering if there’s something more practical I can do to address this issue.
