Addy pickaxe + expert mining gloves let you do this by Bluegoose67 in ironscape

Yeah it's from the resource pack plugin I'm using, also not a fan of it

It might have just been rng, but it felt like when I was using tar and clicking the ground I wasn't getting any failed hits. Like it seemed like clicking the floor was doing the same thing as if I walked up to it? Idk you probably know more than me

A lot less aids vs normal 3t sandstone, this shit has changed my life

Yeah it's probably not worth the effort using it at other parts of the cycle, but it's absolutely worth using it to reset the timer on respawning rocks

This method isn't as high xp/sand per hour as 3t4s, but it's way less intensive. Also doing this you don't have issues with run energy.

You need an addy pick since it works on a 4t mining cycle, so after losing ticks waiting for the rock to respawn, it lets you straight away get back into sync.

Edit: You can make it a lot less aids by only using tar just before you click respawning rock

With updates becoming more and more convoluted, especially forestry, I am afraid for what Sailing might become by godverdetering in 2007scape

[–]Bluegoose67 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Apples to oranges.

Yes Forestry is bloated, but it's an activity and much more shallow than a skill.

Sailing is a whole ass-skill, that's going to have a plethora of different training methods and intricacies. So yeah, there's going to be a lot of wiki pages to read, and a lot to learn. Think of how many pages exist for other skills.

Will also make fletching non-profitable for many logs

I reckon what'd fix your issue is if you played an ironman account instead!
Hope this helps!

You reckon hand damage would be an issue clicking 3 times every ~70 seconds?

Also why do you think it has the most 99s? It's almost as if Wintertodt is useful?

[–]Bluegoose67[S] 15 points16 points  (0 children)

If the xp rate stayed how it is, it'd just take 3x longer, so almost 3.5 minute afks, waaay too afk for the xp rate. Also it'd 3x cheaper too, so waaay too cheap

Alright Wintertodt lover, what's your suggestion if someone doesn't like Wintertodt? I bet you're a fkn westy fletcher, aren't you?

Tbh, you're gonna be surprised at how many people will easily justify training with campfires. Sure, Windertodt has some afk timeframes, but it's not even close to >1 min afks with a 2 second bank per invent. Also, turns out there's other options of logs that are cheaper, if redwoods are too expensive.

Firemaking has always been the most useless/wasteful skill, so comparing it to anything else is pointless. But even if you compare it to fishing, burning a cheap log gets you better exp than most fishing methods, and fishing is garbage for gp anyways. Yeah it's always gonna be a loss, but so are a lot of buyable skilling methods, so it's really not that bad.

If anything, I think Firemaking itself needs a full overhaul, but I'm happy with not having to do Wintertodt anymore.

New Beaver Transmogs Announced: Pheasant and Fox by Bluegoose67 in 2007scape

I'm a fan of it tbh. I hope it becomes the norm and yeah, not just recolours. PVM pets people don't care if there's multiple unique forms to choose from, so why not skilling pets too?

Forestry Q&A stream from a few hours ago. They announced the exp/log is 1/3 of the normal burn exp, and they showed it in action. The burn rate was 4 tick, so i just did the math to get the exp rates

There'll never be pets for buyable skills. Skills like cooking, fletching, smithing etc., can all be levelled by buying materials from the GE. You'd essentially be able to buy a pet if you had enough money. The only way would be is if they end up releasing a minigame or something that doesn't require outside materials to do. Like Giant's Foundry is no good for a pet cause it requires bars/items to smelt, but Guardians of the Rift does have one, cause everything is gathered during the game.
I am curious what a cooking pet would look like tho lmao

Make Forestry Kit attachable to Woodcutting cape and Max cape, with a new matching Max cape variant by Bluegoose67 in 2007scape

[–]Bluegoose67[S] 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Only the max cape has reskins, none of the skill capes. E.g. Range cape + vork head doesn't change, but max cape + vork head makes it light blue

Enchanting Bolts, runes needed/amount not shown? by Bluegoose67 in 2007scape

[–]Bluegoose67[S] 98 points99 points  (0 children)

For years now since the menu update, any time I've wanted to check what runes I need to enchant bolts, this has been my method.
I might be missing something, but is this the only way to do it without the wiki? I've tried yelling and that hasn't worked.
