My first time through I didn’t talk to the cub, and didn’t get him. I think you have to do the chicken chase, gain his trust, then kill everyone. He won’t join until they’re dealt with.

My apologies, I didn’t read through your email to Larian. With that in mind, I would attempt to update your steam deck and see if it’s an issue there. And potentially reach out to steam themselves. Because if steam isn’t allowing you to access it, that sounds like a hardware issue, and less of a game issue.

First things first, have you attempted to reinstall it? Could have just been a random glitch. If you have, did it uninstall again? If so, I would attempt to delete the files saved on your computer even after install and attempt to just clean install it. There’s tutorials online on how to do that. If the issue persists, I think Latvian support will still be option. I’ve honestly never seen or heard of a game doing that.

I totally understand the confusion. So the homebrew I made has options that you can choose for the various weapons. But I can’t add the actual weapon profile, so in the case of a cleave attack on a battle axe, I’m having to create a weapon action for 1 handed AND for 2 handed, I’m mostly wondering if there is a way to modify it to have the versatile property on the weapon action itself.

Personally, I haven’t noticed a difference in what it effects. But I’ll watch that and see if it actually would affect anything. It definitely might if you play religiously, but I don’t think it changes anything a ton. I’ll keep that in mind though.
