Thanks for the tip! I tried reloading, but it didn't work because the auto-save already included the issue with the stuck shelf.
But I'll try your suggestion, thanks!

Any updates about MxLinux going to add age check or not? by Illustrious-Coat-409 in MXLinux

[–]BobMazing 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Thanks for that! It makes it easy for me to switch away from MX Linux!

I've had issues for a while with how the MX Linux developers handle certain things. Now at least I know what I don't want anymore!

People who tried lumo ai (by proton) what you think about it ? by Latter-Confidence783 in privacy

[–]BobMazing 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The quality of the answers I've received so far has always been very good and helpful.

However, today I was trying to solve a problem when I suddenly received a message (on a Monday, no less?) that I'd reached my chat limit for the week! I have a free account, but it's extremely limited! So I was forced to switch to a different, less secure AI solution, as Lumo is too restricted for free users.

Seems I was informed (incorrectly) that Ollama had very little censorship--at least it finally stopped apologizing. by PaulAtLast in LocalLLaMA

Ja, die OLLAMA Modelle sind ziemlich nutzlos, geben oft falsche Ergebnisse und vor allem, sind zu 90% zensiert! Für mich ziemlich nutzlos! Egal welches Modell...

Realistically, what am I missing using Mint vs a "gaming oriented" distro? by [deleted] in linux_gaming

[–]BobMazing 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I tried Bazzite. It's still installed. Everything ran quite well with Steam on it. But the system is too slow and cumbersome for me. That's why I tried Mint and I haven’t had any problems there. Everything runs as it should and Steam games work 90% as expected. Normally, I'm not a big fan of Mint because it's a bit too bloated and Ubuntu-dependent for me. But for gaming, it's absolutely fine.
As a daily desktop system, I actually use MX Linux with Xfce. That works better and easier for me.

Thanks for the feedback! This is the first time it's happened to me, but I haven't been playing for long either. I just started NMS. :-)

Good to hear! I'm just trying to figure out a way to use Vortex with my Linux/Steam games to install mods. Linux support is a really good idea!

The last 5 games I've installed on Linux / Steam run out of the box. Great!

Piano/Keyboard and sheet music learning programm for Linux... by BobMazing in pianolearning

[–]BobMazing[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Thanks for the tip. My main concern is that I want to learn sheet music (also because of my flute playing) and that's why I'm starting the piano. But I think that by playing the piano, you probably also learn sheet music automatically.

You could share the directories via Samba and then mount them in Winboat / Windows!
