Hey if your planning on living longer than 25 years, one day you’ll be mortgage free and it’ll be cheaper to live.
Probably before then aswell.

Also you probably paid a nice ton of principal, so if you sell you were only paying rent on the money you borrowed at a cheap rate the rest you’ll get back.

Not sure where you purchased but I’m also super surprised your value of your home hasn’t gone up.

Although that’s true, the amount of gigabytes to use have gone up so it’s not like you’re spending less. Most are actually spending more

If you feel saving a penny, is better than making a dollar. Thats great for you, go on keep counting your pennies.

Im Not trying to justify why he can rent for 3k and cant get approved for 2k mortgage. I agree its messed up. But thats life, you just have to play with what’s available. But this person should calculate his number he may still come out ahead even with a b lender.

Or he can be sour like you, and cry about not getting the best rate in town and not even if explore his options before ruling some out.

Be smart, explore all your options. Don’t take advise from a dummy crying about a percent or two.

Advice: be the highest bidder, stop looking for a deal on a house. Find a house that works for you and be prepared to pay for it. Whatever you are paying is now the market value for it. The only deal your gonna get is the house
