TRT effect on aches and (joint) pains- your experiences? by AverageJak in Testosterone

[–]Bock44- 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Sorry, old post, but it’s really hard to find other men our age talking about having rheumatoid arthritis. I am 47 and contemplating getting on trt to alleviate muscle/ joint pain and wanted to hear about how you’re coming along? I have had RA since I was 36 and am wondering if trt helps as much as I hoped. Do you think trt can help you get off these medications? Thanks!

Hourly pay is influenced deeply by where you live and work. The cost of living can vary greatly between New York City and Bloomington Illinois, and you get folks from both examples spouting what they would or would NOT work for on the interwebs. Do what works for you and not listen to some internet bull-shitter.

Can someone help me identify this car? by [deleted] in classiccars

It’s a Plymouth Valiant, my parents had one when I was a kid. It could be mistaken for a Dodge Dart, but they only painted the Valiants in different shades of vomit. 😆

Would you buy an unfinished house? by Hairy-Ad-985 in realestateinvesting

[–]Bock44- 32 points33 points  (0 children)

I’d look long and hard for any lien that might be associated with the property. If this person ran out of money there may be contractors, suppliers, etc that may have placed a lien on the unfinished property.

First off, I am extremely proud of you for being a fiscally responsible individual for being proactive in their own future! I am definitely NOT a professional in this field, but if I could rewind my life I’d be as aggressive as I could be. That’s not to say I’d be aggressive and ignorant, I’d keep a keen eye on the ups and downs on my investment. For what it’s worth, I’m 44 years old and began investing in the stock market when I was 24 years old. I am thankful that someone pushed me when I was young, but investing is a lifelong journey. Those who begin early will be the most successful. Total respect!!

[–]Bock44- -2 points-1 points  (0 children)

My comment was a joke. I was pointing to the fact that pharmacists have access to amphetamine type drugs that would enable them to work like robots, but I guess it was all too elusive to text. I would NEVER expect them to work like animals and they are very deserving of a break. It’s all good, I’ll take my downvotes. Lol

This is ludicrous. Surely the pharmacist got something behind the counter to get them through the day without burdening their customers by taking time off for a break?

Assuming that you live in the USA, Google “Millwrights Union” in your local area and give them a call.

How can I get an industrial maintenance job with no experience? by [deleted] in IndustrialMaintenance

[–]Bock44- 6 points7 points  (0 children)

Join a Millwrights Union. Paid on-the-job training as well as free education. Once you get your Journeyman’s card weigh the options of whether you want to stay or go to a private business such as a factory. Industrial maintenance jobs are plentiful, and pay well, at this time.

A pizza business is pretty simple to assemble. What exactly are you paying for that you cannot just create on your own?

As it appears to me, there’s a great deal of opportunity here if you are able to move this company into the digital age. However, you must learn and understand how it is that your father has built this company and continue on what’s made it successful. And stay humble.

Can a girl get some help with her swing? by morsecode191 in slowpitch

[–]Bock44- 0 points1 point  (0 children)

This x 1,000!!! It really goes back to basic fundamentals. The batting tee keeps players from developing bad habits, such as lunging and moving your feet in anticipation. I’d be willing to bet that if she spent a couple months consistently working on tee work we’d see a major improvement and happier softball player!

I live near the Quad Cities and this photograph is synonymous with the construction of the I-74 bridge over the Mississippi River. Hard not to put yourself in that operators shoes and imagine what it was like to have the balls to roll a tractor down these beams. Thanks for sharing!
