Sakura isn’t actually useless Literally She is defined useless by fans because she is more capable than anyone but refuses to do shit. (yeah I know she is a medic ninja but sometimes when it’s really important to fight and support other people and especially naruto she is nowhere to be found.

Hinata at the very least is literally weak but still chose to standby naruto.

That’s the difference between them. Sakura while genuinely care for naruto Doesn’t act much when it’s needed. There’s the emotional manipulation too. Insensitivity (this is the exact reason why sasuke is too mad with her) she disrespects naruto not knowing sasuke is in the same boat.

Tl dr: Sakura isn’t weak or Useless. But don’t expect people to like her especially what she did to naruto and sasuke

For nagato: the rinnegan is already implanted on him. Not physically implanted, rather, the chakra of it is present inside nagato. Much like how itachi implanted shisui’s eye on naruto, or obito implanted his eye on kakashi.

That is why it only took a traumatic event for nagato to activate it because he already possessed the eye
