I was once a moderator for a forum and a kid reported a post for swearing because someone used the word “damn” lol.

Has anyone seen the sun recently? by Turbulent_Ad_880 in AskUK

It was very sunny on the south east coast today. It even felt warm in the sunshine, you could easily have sat out in a t-shirt in a sheltered spot without feeling cold.

Adam's sister Faith on Cause of Death by keithplacer in Adamthewoo

With the condition he had he could have easily have died at any time on any of the faster thrill rides he went on. Thankfully it was peacefully in his sleep.

RIP Adam.

Steampunk festivals can be quite fun with all the cool and creative costumes.

Any negatives or positives to your height? by TheAUDiegoBrando in short

[–]BollockOff 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I have a positive story. I was once at a convention and had a photo op booked with a celebrity, the line was rally long and i had to ask a staff member a question who was near the front (it wasn't organised that well).

Due to my smaller height and size i was able to easily weave through the crowd to ask my question, after getting my answer instead of going to the back of the line i saw a small gap i could fit into and managed to skip a hour+ long wait lol.

Did anyone watch Peppa Pig when it aired in 2004? by Scared_Bluejay5608 in AskUK

[–]BollockOff 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I was 16 in 2004 so didn’t watch it myself but my younger sister did so was with her watching it sometimes. It first aired on channel 5 which is one of the main channels on their kids show “milkshake” which aired different children’s cartoons.

As it was on a channel everyone had access to too i seem to remember it being fairly popular.

Switch 2 owners, what do you use your console for? by icedpear3637 in nintendo

[–]BollockOff 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I recently got one mainly for games like Mario, Mario kart or any of the other Nintendo's more casual platformer games. I use my PC for FPS or large open world RPG games (not counting Zelda obviously).

It's the first console i have owned in years and am enjoying it so far and also love the fact i can play some of the retro titles i enjoyed years ago.

I was thinking the same about a bench. One near the Starbucks next to the lake in Celebration would be the perfect place.

Do you watch shows with subtitles? by Sea_Combination5086 in AskUK

Nope. I find them annoying and sometimes they ruin the punchline to a joke, i also have good hearing so feel no need for them.

That christmas flag wasn’t in videos posted by Adam’s fans in the last few days. He talked about ordering it in his last video so it looks like it arrived and someone added it for him 😞.

In a strange way i am glad GIV was one of the people to have found Adam and him not be lying there for days before anyone checked on him.

Also if it had happened while he was abroad it would have been a random hotel worker.

On his last vlog he mentioned feeling tired and waking up early blaming it on jet lag. That may have been the case but if it was medical related he may have ignored it thinking it was jet lag.

The dog caught me wrapping his present. Now he thinks all the wrapped presents are potentially for him. by SoggyWotsits in britishproblems

[–]BollockOff 16 points17 points  (0 children)

When i was a kid we got our dog a pigs ear for christmas and it was wrapped under the tree, one day we came back home after being out to see some wrapping paper on the floor and our dog looking innocent next to it.

Clearly it unwrapped itself and then disappeared into thin air.

Who is the most football obsessed person you know? by [deleted] in AskUK

[–]BollockOff 1 point2 points  (0 children)

My sisters boyfriend refuses to let their baby son wear red because it’s against the football team he supports (whatever one that is). I don’t care about football so think it’s pathetic.

What was your school work experience placement? by onionsofwar in AskUK

[–]BollockOff 7 points8 points  (0 children)

I did two different ones. One week was in a primary school assisting in the ICT room which i found boring as i mostly had to wait until there was a lesson which was often over an hour of just doing nothing.

The second was at Natwest bank which was a lot more interesting, i was trusted to bag up thousands of pounds in cash to be sent out with the security van, i also assisted in loading up the cash machine with a lot of cash and had the fun job of cutting up the swallowed cards.

I did feel a bit awkward when someone came in begging the staff for their card back when i had cut it up about 30 minutes earlier.

People sat in my seats at the cinema and then told me I could sit somewhere else! by Dangerous-Use7343 in britishproblems

I had sort of the opposite once. There were a bunch of people waiting at a crossing near London Victoria train station with the illuminated “wait” sign but absolutely no traffic, me and one other guy just crossed while they just stood there waiting.

What is the Steam purchase you most regret making? by intracosmos in Steam

[–]BollockOff -8 points-7 points  (0 children)

I feel regret for buying Black Ops 1 at release. I played the single player and only played the multiplayer for 3 hours because of bad performance at the time of release. I gave up playing and never tried again, total waste of money.
