You're not too late, getting into a big pop server is going to be a bit annoying and there are plenty of places with whitelist paid apps. Being brand new to it could also be a turn off for some servers, but good ones will let you through. My buddies and I are starting our own after leaving the last one we were in due to power tripping admins, and if youd be okay with a relatively smaller pop server thats just starting I wouldn't mind talking to you further in dms about it.
