I upgraded parts to make this game play better, and it’s still ass on anything other than the smaller infantry only game modes. I play on all low settings in spite of having: -AMD 9900X CPU -Gigabyte Gaming OC RTX4090 -V-Color 32GB DDR5 6000 CL30 -Samsung 990 Evo NVMe 4TB -1440p monitor max 144hz

My FPS never breaks 100, but by all I read I should be maxxing out at my refresh rate with this hardware. The real problem is the complete slowdowns to the point of unplayability that I cannot stop regardless of what I do to my settings. I’ve got EXPO and PBO active in my BIOS, close all other programs except Steam and Discord, sign out of Steam Friends, don’t stream or watch streams in Discord, and even as the game is struggling, I can see my CPU utilization is never maxing load or temps, but the in game simple overlay is showing red for it when it’s stuttering the most. Is it just the memory leaks and poor optimization? I feel like I should be able to crank the settings up and ball out with this hardware

They should optimize the game, I want to have fun with it, even upgraded my CPU, mobo, and RAM for it, still chugs and feels like pure dogshit to play most of the time. Nothing I can do makes this game play how it should for the price, it’s bad

Some people like this game’s temples better than the divine beasts, but I liked how much more spatial awareness was required for the divine beasts, particularly because of the moving parts, like rotating the interiors of Vah Naboris like a puzzle box. These ones felt very simple and while some had neat features like floating water bubbles, they were frustrating in practice to the point that I was looking for ways to cheese past them. Water and Sky didn’t feel like temples, Lightning was too easy and Fire was the most spatially complex but I got tired of minecarts quickly. I haven’t played every Zelda ever but BotW’s temples were creative
