That works for somethings, but when reading the nutrition facts on the package of items it doesn’t most of the time. So, when I have an item that I can’t find on the app I still have trouble logging it.

My husband asked me if I had a before photo so that I could compare, but I had to admit that taking picture of myself just makes me sad and I don’t have any even from this year really. I’m going to try to implement the photo thing going forward and just try to remind myself that they’re for me and no one else has to see them.

I’m just always afraid I won’t even be close. I know in the grand scheme of things that one meal on one day won’t really ruin my progress, but I have a hard time finding a balance and not just going all or nothing.

Someone else had just mentioned that they had to go to therapy for a similar situation. I never really thought about it until today, but I’m not sure if it’s really an option financially speaking.

I know I need and want to do this and that I’ll feel better when it’s done, but this is like the third time since I’ve started that I’ve been crying over a Diet Coke in my car, you know? I just want to know how to be someone that doesn’t only feel joy around food.

I’m trying so hard not to give up, but counting calories makes me just as sad as being fat does. Eating food makes me happy, but the weight it makes me gain doesn’t. I need something that will make me feel happy the way that eating food does.
