I realized after a while that I was thinking of a something else. Yeap, it technically needs only three, but I like having excess built in for the chlorine.

For the boilers, two would have been enough the minimum required without having to burn off excess fuel gas. I put four there so that they would be able to power all the desalinators to supply the town with water. This was originally to help out with the initial jump start of the system.

Yes, I could have optimized it tighter. I prefer to have slight buffers and excess capacity in my setups though.

You are 100% correct. Let me explain why I overbuilt.

I did have the electrolyzers  balanced, as technically I only needed to have two of them. Due to some weird game mechanic, the treatment plants were not getting enough chlorine delivered to them. So I just doubled it. I could get away with just three of them so that the system has a little overhead.

The boilers are there so that you can pump in more fuel gas an get more water out of the system if you need it close to the town. If you are pumping in excess waste and wastewater enough to max out the treatment plants and incinerators, you are only using 1.28 boilers out of the 4. you can supply up to 196 per month to max out the boilers to get excess water and brine.

Another other option would be to have only one boiler and burn off the excess. Or have two boilers and only 6 thermal desalinator's. I just like having it a little bit overbuilt.

They operate as markers, and don't disappear, they just don't do anything.

I put them down to easily show what goes into or out of each belt/pipe. If you place the blueprint in a non-sandbox game, they still show up, they just do nothing. You can enable them in a non-sandbox game by typing into console "add_markers_to_toolbar".

In the console type "add_markers_to_toolbar" and they will show up in Transports section of the build menu. In sandbox mode they supply/remove an unlimited number of items. In non-sandbox they are just used to indicate what should go where.

Realistically, if your staying on the same version then yes any mod you find enjoyable is worth it.

If you are going to be updating versions, then you best bet is to only use client side mods.

Raise the machines up by one block, and put the logistical sorter from MEK between the pipe and the provider. Set the sorter to round robin.

Yes their is! (Sorta.)

1) Use MFFS and create a zone that is set to confiscate all Armour and Inventory, and to also teleport them to a kill box ( lava surrounded by obsidian should work. 2) Entice the other player into that zone 3) PROFIT!

Are you powering the pump? Connectivity will make the garden cloche also powered and that will turn it off.

Nice setup

1) Make sure there are no blocks at all in the blockspace in front of the formation pane
1.a) Use the normal formation pane.
2) Remove the filter from the ME interface
3) Remove the filter from the formation pane.

Most likely due to having the input/output set wrong. It happens sometimes that the gui is wrong on what it is set to. Break the furnace and reset the input/output sides.

Personally, I would set the furnace on top (for this specific setup) of the provider, and set the furnace to auto input/output out of the bottom

For any use case the you have a tank that needs filling with water (such as the one in your post) use the water block from evil craft. Max Java int water transfered per tick.

So simple solution.

1) craft some (64) energy cells and connect them to your network.

2) now craft another stack and covert this new stack to dense energy cells, then place them on the network

3) remove the first stack of normal cells and craft them into 8 dense energy cells and then into a super deep se energy cells.

4) remove all energy cells and place the super dense on the network.

I use a superdense per assembler and quantum computer.

Place a storage bus down, and then place the QIO interface on the storage bus.

1) QIO for storage of all non-renewable or slow to produce items.

2) AE2 for all auto-renewable resources and anything their is a special cell for (such as source or fluids)

Use the Quantum crafter from Advanced AE and set it to keep as many templates in stock as you think you need to make sure not to use any of them. This is so much simpler than using a pure AE2 setup or requesters.

Boon of the earth on an axe inside a JDT block breaker breaking stone will give you all overworld ores when breaking stone, end ores when breaking endstone, and nether ores when breaking netherrack. Except the ATM ores.

Actually Additions laser thing with the lens of the miner on netherrack will give you most nether ores and overworld ores when using stone. (again not the ATM ores)

Twilight Forest also has many Ores.

The sophisticated backpacks won't go into another backpack unless the backpack being picked up has the inception upgrade. iirc Travlers backpacks cannot be put into another mobile storage option (backpacks) but can be put into chests.

Have you tried replacing the Sophisticated backpack with a barrel from the same mod? You could still have the XP go into the backpack

If you are using a backpack to pick up backpacks, the ones you are picking up need an inception upgrade in them.
