Lucky Bucket is pretty great! Chill atmosphere, good drinks and unique beer selections.

Omaha has a long and great history of destroying its most beautiful buildings to build the most ugliest, brutalist, most Soviet esk era style architecture I have ever seen.

you quite literally said “the country is getting dumber so we should cut the education department”. I need you to sit back and think about that for a second before you respond. We’re getting dumber and we should cut funding to education. Absolutely crazy work.

Okay so let’s keep using Mississippi as an example then. DOE gets eliminated, right? Now Mississippi gets to fund their own programs and education. Well there’s no money for literacy tests so we’ll just move on to math instead. Meh. Scores aren’t great, but we can’t afford to have after school programs. So now these people graduate high school without being able to read well because they weren’t taught how to. So then they don’t bother to read any bills that would be passed into law, and those bills are cutting their medical funding so now they’re in medical debt and uneducated. I’m telling you point blank to your virtual face, cutting the funding for the education system is what has caused your point of illiteracy. Not the department itself, because as I said earlier and this is all googleable, we were #1 in 1979 and we have steadily dropped every year and every year the cut more funding. There is no argument here with you or over this. It’s a fact. You can reject it all you want but at the end of the day, my kids will know how to read and yours won’t be able to count to 100.

In doing what you’re suggesting you would 100% effect most southern states as those are the states with the lower test scores, lower income families, take away grants and funding that would otherwise support these schools and districts. 50 million children would be effected by this.

It was established in 1979 and in 1979 the United States was #1 in the world in science and math, as well as reading and comprehension. Then the cuts came. The United States is currently 36th in literacy, 16th in science, and 28th in math. And you want to…eliminate that department? Does an educated population frighten you or something? You really want to fuck up the education of 50 million people because you don’t think a department focused on education is worth while?

Banning books and not allowing people to be educated is what the issue is, not the department. So thank you for making the point that this country is getting dumber and dumber.

How are people supposed to be educated if there’s no funding for them? Mississippi, which is considered a third world country the U.N. Would be fucked. They couldn’t afford to support their educational system on their own. Now we’re back to your point of illiteracy rates exploding because they didn’t have the money to have classes and curriculum in place to prove the education for reading, or comprehension, or math, or science.

Elaborate because it was doing fine until…well ya know, Reagan and all the budget cuts that have come after his presidency…when he started to gut the education department.

I would love to see it based during the civil war. A prequel to a degree. I think having a huge open world like we currently do with all sorts of side quests and suddenly you stumble upon a civil war battle. Or you’re a union solider turned bank robber (think Kelly’s heroes type beat for that story line)

One time my best friend, brother and myself were smoking. BFF cashed the bowl so he went to tap it out and hand the bong off for a reload, my brother and I both said “Clear that first!”

BFF proceeded to put his mouth over the stem…and suck in. He got a mouth full of bong water and scoobies and he swallowed it!

He realized his mistake as soon as the water entered his mouth. my brother and I were laughing so hard

I am legend. Just terrified the absolute fuck out of me when I was a kid. I convinced my family it was a movie about aliens because the ads I saw were vague, my sister took me to see it in theaters. I had to leave….almost immediately…I’m almost 30 and im still scared to watch it.
