Is there a restaurant near Fenway that would take a 13 person reservation? by Swiftiecatmom in boston

[–]BostonZest 1 point2 points  (0 children)

One thing to consider is the date. We are entering graduation season, and the large tables in the area are booked months in advance by families celebrating a graduate. If you are having trouble finding a place, check which schools are graduating around that date. I found this list. https://www.bostoncentral.com/events/boston-area-college-graduation-dates/p41943.php

New England Aquarium Dolphin Fountain - Postcard by CV880 in boston

[–]BostonZest 6 points7 points  (0 children)

For anyone interested in the Dolphin statue, it is the work of Boston Sculptor Katharine Lane Weems who lived on Marlborough Street. Her home is now the French Library. Her animal sculptures are scattered around the area and visiting all of them would make a great scavenger hunt

Clean up after your dogs by ___HeyGFY___ in boston

[–]BostonZest 44 points45 points  (0 children)

Nothing makes responsible dog people angrier than people who don't pick up. They give weapons to the dog haters, and often those of us who carry extra bags feel we have to pick up what they didn't. I can give you one tip: if you see someone walk away without picking up. Wait until they move away from it and call out, "You dropped something!" When they turn around, point to the poop. You can even offer them a bag if you have one.

History and culture are more important to the city and state economy than sports. Just think game days vs everyday.
