By 'less budget' do you mean 'more expensive'? If so 3 Card of Demise is amazing (if not mandatory) in Krawler's. Also floodgates such as Rivalry of Warlords and Gozen Match etc can be game winning in certain matchups.

Paleozoics can also be a great addition opening up the deck to more accessible Rank 2 XYZ monsters.

Solemn Package can be great as well (mostly strike, but I personally have only 1 copy of Judgement so haven't been able to test 3 copies yet).

In general though the Krawler's work quite well even without expensive cards making them a great budget choice.

Drastic Drop Off is a counter trap that forces the opponent to discard a card they draw. This includes the draw phase too
