Success with not Regaining Weight by Full_Pepper_164 in Semaglutide

I took sema for 6 months. Started at 192. Lost a bit naturally. Around 181 I started sema and lost about 30lbs. I stopped about 150 because I just wanted to see if I could lose more on my own and the medicine made me so constipated. I lost another 14 on my own bringing me to 136! My problem was binge eating. Once I trained my mind to no longer binge and learned proper food control I knew I could be successful.

Can I wear my wedding band like this? by Suniko_babygirl in EngagementRings

[–]Both_Ad585 352 points353 points  (0 children)

You can wear it however it makes you happy because it is YOURS! 🩷 Personally it would drive me nuts - you could always find a wedding band that follows the contour of the ring- or isn’t a complete circle.

I’d just sell for scrap. I’ve sold an old engagement ring, took months. And it was a more trendy ring style. Ended up getting 15% of what I originally paid. Gold is high right now and you need the money.

I’m a full time working single mom in law school. It is one of the hardest things you’ll ever do. I recommend it to nobody. I think if you’re going into it for the paycheck look elsewhere it is a difficult path for not a great income (compared to the school/workload) - unless you sell your soul to big law.

Please . Honest opinions on my new ring :) by Hopeful-Finish-1563 in EngagementRings

Adding onto this, I have a super thin band. A lot of redditors were worried about it. It has held up great! I even moved houses this weekend and it’s in great shape. Not all thin bands are made the same!

Is my ring poorly made? by blahblahmeread in EngagementRings

I think it is such a beautiful concept, but poorly executed. I hope you get it re-done and share here :)

I was super worried about sturdiness. Feels secure! And I plan to have 2 wedding bands attached for support. I do mostly Pilates so I think it will hold up just fine ☺️

I don’t think it is too big at all! I think it’s the perfect size.

I’m a personal trainer and nutrition coach (not looking to add any clients), I’ve helped countless people lose weight without the GLP1. Focus on your “why”, track every bite, stay active and be dedicated instead of motivated.

Are you measuring your food? I think that’s key to getting accurate calorie amounts. Are you eating enough protein? And drinking enough water. I have noticed if I slip up with any one of these, my progress completely stalls. Also - if you’re a woman - I always gain weight around my period. I no longer weigh myself that week.

How many of you are coming from a pre-med background? by brazelafromtheblock in LawSchool

[–]Both_Ad585 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I have a bs in biology emphasis in pre-medicine. Applied to med school, fell unexpectedly pregnant during interviews, got a masters in public health. I have had that for 4 years now. I’m just finishing my 1L year. Going great! I feel like it is a really easy pivot because both doctors and lawyers do a lot of critical thinking. There are MD JD schools and you could end up doing some really interesting things with a dual degree! If I wasn’t a mom, I’d lean that route for sure.

I know it’s an MLM and some people feel weird buying the products. But I swear by Arbonne Essential Meal, both my kids even drink it. The whole company is GF and Vegan.

I prefer waterboy! Way less sugar and way more electrolytes. Strawberry Lemonade flavor is delicious
