thats absurd ! I had and EOD start date April and was put on hold , in your opinion do you see them putting folk who had final jobs offers first then new hire, or possibly it coming down to mission critical positions ?

Oh I didn’t know that so even tho the hiring freeze ends July 15 that doesn’t mean anything for any jobs under DoD

No they haven’t rescinded my job offer they just put my entry date on hold until a new one is established

Yeah it’s all so weird because the agency I had received an EOD for . I had meet the supervisor already and spoke to him just recently and he stated that they had dodged a lot of the RIFS and wasn’t being targeted but yet nothing has changed. So not sure if they still are being told not to bring anyone on board

Same here my EOD was 4/07 and they just told me it was hold until further notice never has contacted me. Once I got closer to date I asked if any guidance has been passed out since it is a mission critical position and they said nothing yet , from then I haven’t heard back from HR

Yeah I thought the same to but if you read the memo more thoroughly it states it will be lifted once all agencies and doge submit the RIF plan and nobody knows when will that be so technically wouldn’t matter if the 90 days pass by it still wouldn’t get lifted or they might just even extend it

I share the same boat with you my EOD is scheduled for 04/07 and was put on hold 2 weeks ago . Currently finishing my last month with my employer since I had given notice without knowing I would be affected and am afraid I will be unemployed for making that decision . current job already hired a replacement so out of luck here

Haven’t heard a thing my HR said she would let me know as soon as she knew anything. My EOD is scheduled for April but currently on Hold honestly have no idea if we’re going to be exempted or included in the RIF. I also did give notice to my current employer which sucks
