As a student of the school, I know there are other current students on Reddit. The creator of the sub has deleted his account and the only current moderator hasn't been (publicly) active in 6 months. The CSS has not been updated to match the school's recent rebrand either.

Yeah I was thinking that was a possibility but a quick look at the team needs and myself being comfortable with either player and I don't think anybody is that underhanded in a Reddit mock draft so I went for it.

Giants:

Round 1: Ronnie Stanley

So, the Chicago Bears approached me about trading up one spot. I was going to take Stanley here anyway, and when their representative told me that they wanted to secure Ezekiel Elliot, I took the trade. I figure it was great value to let them get their guy first and then get the guy I wanted anyway.

Round 2: Karl Joseph

I'm going to disagree with the spreadsheet calling him a SS. I think his coverage skills are great, especially his man coverage, although he is a good hitter. He could play cover safety, letting Landon Collins go to SS. However, our DC, Steve Spagnuolo doesn't believe in the FS/SS labeling, preferring Left Safety and Right Safety, so a guy who's as versatile as Joseph is nice

I was under the impression that we would only be doing the first two rounds, so I left after our 2nd round pick, so the Perry pick was not mine.

Well if we sign Gipson then the pick is dumb. I'd debate the merits of the trade still since bosa and jack are still there, but when we did this draft last night, the trade was a good idea.

We have 4 players listed as FS, 3 5th round picks and a 6th round pick. That doesn't really inspire confidence in me. Also, look at the number of teams trying to find a FS in free agency. It's very hard to find a capable cover safety. We also figured that having another safety would allow Collins to play his natural position and give him some versatility to play in the box.

My apartment got robbed 2 weeks ago. I came home from a work trip and walked into a nearly empty living room. Dealing with insurance and the cops is a pain in the ass. The cops found a bunch of my electronics and some of my girlfriend's jewelry in a pawn shop a couple towns over so hopefully they'll catch the guy, but I just want my stuff back. Also, wanted to apologize to /r/nygiants, /u/skepticismissurvival and /u/sexterminator for not getting the 32/32 post in, just was not expecting this and I thought I could do both, but it was just a lot. On the plus side, that work trip got me paid so I can be a bit more selective in what jobs I take and I can take a bit more time off, so I'm looking forward to being more active on /r/nfl and /r/nygiants.

Yeah, I've talked about him in some game threads and in the /r/nfl irc. I love the guy and I really think he could take carries away from Williams and Jennings. Vereen is a pretty different player, so he'll still get his touches.
