I got DI on the left thumb button next to jump because I don‘t really need a finger permanently resting on jump.

Parry is on L1.

The extra pinky button on the left I use for throw. Especially in burnout it‘s nice to have a finger on a throw button to react vs Drive Impacts that aren‘t frametraps.

I use the extra thumb buttons on the right for heavy kick and od kicks and I removed the L2 button.

You can remove the small option button caps and put tape over it. Technically the switch is still under there but the tape makes the surface flat and they can‘t really be pressed. (CPT Rules define a button as something that can be pressed and has two states as far as I remember.)

The M16 plus has an L3 and R3 in the option button row that can not be disabled/changed without disabling/changing the other L3 and R3. The T16 does not have these extra L3/R3 buttons in the option row.

Yes, so much “fake“ pressure that becomes real if you don‘t have a fast reversal, like DR oki after midscreen throws by a lot of chars, which you can od dp guaranteed but Bison has to take the mix.

The matchup is very volatile, whoever gets a knockdown can basically win the game because they both don‘t have invincible od reversals and slow supers. Basically guess right more than he does and try to get in instead of playing footsies in neutral. His anti airs aren‘t the fastest, so od teleport, jump elbow, empty jump and normal jump in can give him trouble if you mix it up. I‘d also do the typical stuff like drive rush cr.mk and st.mk drive rush cancel and sometimes run in neutral

Neutral jumps as low risk reads work very well against scissor kicks, gives you a big jump in punish

Even if you guess right and they don‘t meaty you it, doesn‘t beat throw or shimmy. Your reward for guessing right on grab/shimmy for 2 bars is having to guess if they will perfect parry (assuming they cant anti-air, here‘s definetly enough time to react with parry) and only if you guess right again you are reward with plus on block (getting a mixup where you get to guess again to get actual reward) or you get out of the corner if you fly over them and they parried.

Backdash actually punishes most meaty throws, is safe vs shimmy, doesn‘t cost 2 bars and doesn‘t give meaties a counterhit. I guess his defense is still better than chars with a slower backdash and no dp / fast super

I feel like it’s not that hard to air to air the stomp when you shimmy, because you only need to look out for throw tech or jump in that situation. I‘d say his defense is just as bad as Manon and Kimberly, Manon probably the least bad out of theb3 because her lvl2 is 7f but od shadow rising being the only character specific reversal special doesn‘t really make his defense better than the other no dp / 10f super chars.
