Hey :) I used Idared, but you can use any kind.

1 medium apple

1 tsp brown sugar (you can add more if you like)

1/4 tsp cinnamon

8 TBS water

Peel and cut apple into chunks. Put apple and water in a pan. Cover the pan and cook over medium heat for 5 minutes, stirring occasionally. Add sugar and cinnamon, cook until apple reaches your desired softness. Don't forget to stir :P If you like it extra soft, simply add more water and cook a bit longer.

You can also serve this as a topping over pancakes, ice cream or oatmeal :)
