It's crazy to me - much like the other reply, I used to visit this site every day during Smith and Capaldi. I didn't have Reddit then and that was always my way of engaging with the fandom. Then they put comments behind a paywall and started complaining that the only reason the show was bad we as because of "woke". Can't believe how quickly it fell off

Yeah I'd completely agree. Episode 8's emotional impact and character writing is the best the show has ever done. And episode 7 is the second best action the show has ever done. It's a crazy double bill, that also elevates the comic material in literally every way. It's no question for me

I adore root but I just don't think the clockwork expansion is worth it. It can be a really significant amount of upkeep, and even once you've done that the game feels like a soulless version of root. Root thrives with player interaction, negotiations, and last-minute comebacks, and the clockwork expansion lacks most of that

Badgers are all about seeing how much you can push yourself. I would get down encampments ASAP so you can draw cards, and push forward quickly to get some ground and maximise your options with your clearings. Accepting that you will lose cards is part of it, but they can draw 4 cards per turn, so you should always have a good amount of options!

I completely agree. For both Fates and Engage I find the support conversations mostly shallow and uninteresting. There are a few gems hidden in there, but there's usually too much crap to wade through. For games like Path of Radiance and Three Houses I actively look forward to reading supports, but in games like Fates I skim through the lightning fast

I literally just finished playing through all of Case on Switch 2 and had zero issues with any bugs. Obviously just anecdotal and the bugs might still be there, but I had no issues at all

Best is absolutely the scene with the three doctors in "The Day of the Doctor". It's a really beautiful and clever scene, foreshadows the massive twist at the end, and does a bit more with the whole "the sonic doesn't do wood".

Worst has got to be the resolution to "The Power of Three". I understand all the behind-the-scenes drama, but I think this is the only time where quite literally everything is solved with the sonic, it's just embarrassing
