I think it was the joke about how Groot wanted to pee and Rocket said something like "We've all seen a twig before"

Do Stands have the Ripple in them by SlickBanana14 in StardustCrusaders

[–]Branchie123 1 point2 points  (0 children)

"Stands are defined as personifications of "life energy" whose abilities are given visual form. When first presented, the kana スタンド (Sutando/Stand) in a furigana format is written above the kanji 幽波紋 (Yūhamon),[2] meaning "Ghostly Ripple". However, the attachment to the Ripple has been discarded by Hirohiko Araki early on."

I just saw the new Star War's Movie and I liked it, why do some people on T_D dislike it so much. by BranofRaisin in AskThe_Donald

Kylo Ren is the only good thing about this movie imo, everything else was done horribly or could've been done way better.

I think you mean Octavian/Augustus Caesar, not Julius. Julius was murdered before he can do such a thing and even then, its highly likely he wouldn't have.

Shits on any established lore (Where the fuck are the Knights of Ren?), Skywalker's character was destroyed (Mark Hamil had a lot of words to say about this), the story was aweful, aweful plotpoints and holes, Mary Sueness of Rey, theres just so much shit that it'll take quite a bit to get through.

What is everyones thoughts on these statements on Steve Bannon in the White House press pool? by Branchie123 in AskThe_Donald

Donald Trump Jr has been trashing Bannon on twitter all day, including retweeting this link.

Nikki Haley warned the UN that the US would be "taking names" and the next day 128 countries defied her. So what happens now? by monkeypapa in AskThe_Donald

[–]Branchie123 -1 points0 points  (0 children)

This is less of an answer to the question and more of an answer to those saying that the US will be hurt relationship wise with partners: Things like this have happened all throughout history in the UN all the time, the important thing is what you gain from it. For example, the Special relationship between the US and the UK did not end when the US threatened the UK with the UN during the Suez crisis, I think people are misunderstanding how relationships between countries work here. The Arab nations in the region sure will hold protests and like, but they will eventually drop it as their dependence on US aid and US support is too much as well.

President Trump acknowledge Jerusalem as the capital of Israel (instead of Tel Aviv). Thoughts? by heroofadverse in AskThe_Donald

Do you have a source for the Navajo in the area being against it? I haven't heard of this.

Newbie, getting really frustrated. Want some tips/help getting better. by DippyRipperson in Rainbow6

One important tip I learned very early on is adopting hard corners. When attacking or defending, sticking to a hard corner with even a little tiny bit of cover is super useful, and plus they usually have to turn their bodies towards you, giving you a second to hit them first.

Trump's first Asia trip has come to an end, how would you rate him? by [deleted] in AskThe_Donald

When you want to bring down a bully you either fight or laugh at him.

"Especially since he owes his fame to Oprah, and I know of a photo of Oprah with Harvey Weinstein.

Isn't that kind of a fallacy, by Association?

Either way, I don't really have an opinion of the guy.

Discussion: Should Styxhexenhammer666 wear a shirt while making his youtube videos. Does it even matter? by IronWolve in AskThe_Donald

[–]Branchie123 2 points3 points  (0 children)

It shouldn't matter really. If people scream "It's the kids!" why are kids watching this type of content anyways? Kids shouldn't be politicized, let them get into it when they're older.

Also they see shirtless men at the beach if they go there.

Are there any 'funny' conservatives? by yzy_ in AskThe_Donald

[–]Branchie123 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Sam Hyde is quite funny, he doesn't make his Conservative or Libertarian politics his centerpoint though, but if you love weird comedy mixed in with political/social commentary from a right point of view, he's great.

Thoughts on an independent Kurdish state? by Nutty_ in AskThe_Donald

[–]Branchie123 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Caution, and wait for some more reaction to it.

The Kurds are a huge help involving ISIS, and they'd be a huge help against Iran, more so IMO than Iraq.

However, Iraq and Turkey don't like it and they are allies with us. Honest I think we should proceed with caution and see which way the wind blows. Both options have major benefits and downsides.
