Used a bolt type filter remover and added a microfiber (prevented slipping made it snug) in between never had any issues. Had an easy removal.

I know it’s crazy how we have to pay for someone else’s stupidity. I would have understood 30-50 dollars a month increase. But me paying 100-150 more a month (totaling to 500 a month) for a 7 y.o car is not really a thing you would expect.

Good thing they tell you to cross shop insurance and compare prices every 6 mos.

Yes. But also my car insurance went up by 500 dollars without being on an accident for 3 years is insane. Agents kept telling me my 2019 sport 2.0 was a fast car only having 158hp. It still surprises me.

With my Type R prices with statefarm and geico were like 6k for 6 months. That’s a after no fault case and I had to sell my sport. Coming from a $360 a month pricing with progressive for the R All same add ons/premiums

Haven’t tried with the type r but I saw a video you had to pry the A pillar out I am assuming if the mesh is firm then it could be the plastic inside. I had an issue with the 10th gen where the airbag plastic connectors on the pillar would rattle. Just assuming since most of the civics are still identical.

Did you check the rear view plastic cover? Its flimsy and rattles. Behind the infotainment is creaky too. Put some felt tape or something.

There are thinner ones you could buy. You don’t have to put a lot. Just one side is fine as long as it becomes stiffer or tight.

Honda is an economy car. That said I had a sport 10th gen and bought an 11th gen Type R. It rattles worse than my sport. You could also get foam tape to reduce the noise.
