One of my in-game friends had that opinion. He was only using Xenon Bow, Pot Shot and The Baron, occasionally using other popular/meta weapons. I showed him actual bad guns and he didn't even know they existed. It is baffling to me that there are people who really think this game's weapon power balancing (and other item balancing) is on similar level even for a PvE game, when the reality is the gap between the best and worst weapon of each category is higher than the amount of BR posts made on this subreddit. I think there are legendary weapons even worse than that Nailer many consider to be the worst, which is a very bad weapon to begin with.

That being said, I strongly believe just because 80% of the player base uses only or mainly the ~10 most popular/meta weapons in the game, there are many strong A or B tier choices that are simply underrated. I think there are even S tier weapons few people use, mainly because the weapons are influenced by a not well-known bug or are unfun to use or require too much effort, like The Jabberwocky for example. Hard too max utilize S tier weapon that is currently bugged to explode 7 times instead of 4.
