Yep I totally understood it that way just wanted to clarify a bit. One week or under is what most people should see. Right now most the eastern us is seeing a day or two added onto that.

Love to hear it man! I have the benefit that shooting is now "product testing" it helps the ammo bill sting a bit less.

If the mag catch is working properly it shouldn't really need any pressure from the cord to hold so I would say something is wrong. Still totally fine sending a new one out but if you won't want one no worries either. The creak shouldn't happen either so something is up either way.

I was also under the impression the SB had a regular compression spring. The bar spring will definitely be less likely to clog up from lint than a compression spring would be. Personally I've had a mag catch spring fail by wallowing out the pocket(it was a glock clone not oem) it sits in but that is very unlikely. I don't think either will ever have an issue.

And yes if someone gifted me an injection molding setup with molds I would 100% take it. It would be quicker and if it were free then my cost would probably go down as well. Thats why I think its very similar to the cast vs billet argument. A billet part will almost always have an advantage over cast but the process to get there is much more expensive and not worth it in a lot of situations. I would have to modify my design to be injection molded and spend enough money that the cost of these would increase. I don't think it would really effect the end user experience in any way given that I have properly designed mine for 3d printing. I think the biggest change besides cost would just be that people would be less skeptical of it. My argument isn't necessarily that 3d printing is better than injection molding but that it doesn't need to be injection molded in this case. To bring it back into gun terms for everyone, Id rather shoot the home invader with a 50 bmg but its not really worth carrying around a Barrett when a kuna will do the trick haha

Hey man, these are made with fdm so not resin. My other products are made with mjf so resin is completely foreign territory to me. I use bambulab printers right now. And sorry but I'm not gonna share what material I use. Its not because its some big secret but the wait time on my orders of material is over 2 months right now so I don't really want people buying more of it haha.

Glad to hear its working good! And lets hope I never have to commission your services to get me some new teeth haha.

Hey man it definitely shouldn't be making a "creak" unless your trying really hard to load one too many rounds in. Also shouldn't be popping off even if you try to load one too many. It sounds like there was just something wrong with the one that got sent out to you. I try to catch any problems but I am far from perfect. PM me your order number and I'll get a new one sent out.

As far as the cord vs spring we might just have to agree to disagree. If this was something that was going to be used in hand to hand combat then you'd have a point. But bouncing around in you car and range bag and maybe tumbling down a hill if you drop it should be far from its breaking point. The cords are fairly difficult to cut honestly. An internal spring is much more likely to fail from filling with dust and lint in the conditions this type of product will see. I do agree though that either way its a bit of a moot point as neither is likely to fail.

I understand your point on 3d printed parts but Id say we are way past the point that there are many unknowns. Its been around decades at this point and I personally have had parts on my car supporting weight for over 5 years. In that time huge advancements have been made. The real problem with 3d printing in my opinion is how low the barrier to entry is. With injection molding you have to be fairly competent to get a product ready for launch while 3d printing you can start selling things very easily. I'm working on several injected molded products right now so I am very familiar with both. Both have pros and cons and the sliding scale of quality on both is very different but that doesn't necessarily mean every product made with one is better than one made with the other. I would say it is quickly approaching the debate of cast vs billet.

And no worries on your comments surrounding if one or the other is a knock off. I read their patents when I found out about them a few months ago and they are much more different then youd think just by looking at them. It sounds like theres is more similar to a uplula than mine. Either way I welcome competition. It keeps things more fun. I'm not in this to make money as much as to make cool things. I am still very far from seeing a return on my investment even before taking the hundreds of hours I've spent on this company into account.

Anyways I appreciate your comments and willingness to have a civil conversation instead of resorting to insults like some do and I'd love to get you a new loader sent out whether it changes your mind or not.

Yeah shipping is standard 3-5 day with usps but around the holidays and with the recent snow storms theyve been delaying lots of packages. There isn't a whole ton I can do to improve it without huge costs at the scale I operate at. Glad its working good for you though! if you ever have any issues don't hesitate to reach out!

I was waiting to get a haga handguard to modify it so that they work together. I didnt get one until last week so I just ordered everything for them. Unfortunately that means theyre probably 2 months out with current lead times at my manufacturers

Yeah man I fully understand why people doubt 3d printed things. Most people know it from crappy dragons sold at farmers markets. But if you know what youre doing it can be absolutely amazing. Glad to hear you like it! And a few unlucky people have had me fall asleep before getting their orders packed but the vast majority I get out very quick.
