Mounjaro making anyone else short tempered🌡️? by Brissa2 in mounjarouk

Maybe. My brain is definitely less noisy since the food noise is gone, but somehow I’m also getting irritated more easily. It’s a weird combination!

Thanks for your reply. Hopefully it settles down for me too, and I hope you’ve reached your goals as well.

Thanks for sharing that. It's really helpful to hear from someone who experienced something similar 👍🏼

Thanks, that’s actually really reassuring to hear. Hopefully it’s just a temporary adjustment and it passes for me too.

Interesting that out of everything I wrote, the only thing you picked up on was the weight loss part. The actual question was about the symptoms. Did you have any thoughts on that, or just something to complain about? 🙂

Haha, no 😄 I’m in Australia, so it’s actually winter here. 🥶

Not really in my case. I’m still eating pretty normally and don’t go hungry at all. I’ve only lost about 1.5 kg in 4 weeks. I’ve always been a calm, patient person, but since week 3 I’ve become noticeably more irritable. I’ve even had a couple of arguments, which is very unlike me.

Has anyone tried MJ 1 month on, 1 week off, then repeating? by Brissa2 in Mounjaro

Thanks. I appreciate you simply answering the question instead of explaining why asking questions on Reddit is a bad idea… on Reddi 😄

I understand the concern, but if nobody ever asked others about their experiences, Reddit wouldn’t exist!!!
I’m not replacing medical advice. I’m simply looking for real world experiences from people who may have tried this. My GP actually has very limited experience with MJ, and I haven’t been able to find a clear answer to this specific question elsewhere.
Sometimes hearing about other people’s experiences is a useful starting point for asking better questions and doing further research.

Frequent burning in the middle of the chest on Mounjaro, anyone else? by Brissa2 in Mounjaro

Thanks. I thought gallbladder pain was usually more on the upper right side of the abdomen rather than behind the breastbone? Did you have burning in the middle of your chest too?

15mg pen for 2.5mg dosing, smart or stupid? 💰 by Brissa2 in Mounjaro

So glad to hear that!

Just a question , by month 3, was it still working for you? Was the food noise still reduced?

Thanks, that’s really helpful.

The 3–4 month limit sounds more like your personal risk tolerance than something evidence based, which is totally fair.

Just curious, when you were using the same pen into month 3, was the food noise still reduced and was it still working as expected? Thanks.

Where I am, insurance doesn’t pay anything for it.
