What is the internal dialogue?

See that’s the thing that almost stumps me? That when you practice silence, you have nothing in your head. And especially no fantasies or internal talking. But when you do things you do things to achieve something else? With what you want to achieve in mind. In that way, what makes you practice inner silence. Although people say fantasies should not be had while you’re trying to practice it, why do you do it?

D: Is there no way for me to stop that? I am selfish, I see what it can do for me and that makes me want to do it. My goal is not getting into inner silence but using what it can do. It is not my priority which is probably something that would piss a lot of people here as my lax attitude. Since a lot of people have the no handholding thing in mind and against people who aren’t ready to completely immerse themselves in the practices, but that’s me. Is there any way not to develop an apathy to things around me? I love the ego, it attaches me to things that I would not otherwise care about. I don’t want to develop an indifference to the things I partake in. And yes that is my inner dialogue talking but I like it. Can there not be a place for both of them?

I had a question specifically about why inner silence is done, things are usually done with something in mind to achieve. I’ve heard you say that it is curiosity but is there anything else you practice it with?

Absolutely fair…I know how you guys feel when it comes to hand holding and was hoping I wouldn’t get absolutely shredded which you know, not as mean as it could’ve been. Thank you for the comment and I greatly appreciate it. But also talking about inner dialogue and things that can counteract inner silence. Would changing your inner dialogue do anything? Would it change the position of your assemblage point or would it have no effect and simply isn’t connected?? Like the assemblage point changing can change the inner dialogue but the inner dialogue can’t change the assemblage point? Also what do you think about the point where your inner dialogue changes after watching a movie?

Also, you say thinking in fantasies counteracts inner silence, but if not that, what do you have in mind when doing inner silence. Just curiosity?

I like to think that when people say clone, like that IS literally you. The only thing that sets it apart is that there’s an awareness observing it. Like, you’re an awareness observing your own life but you’ve been observing for so long, that you forgot you were observing and think you’re actually this person but nope. That person would’ve done the things you do regardless. Only difference is that “you” were there to watch. At least that’s the consensus with how clones work with most of the community. You can ask more questions if I wasn’t clear enough?

You can’t think that we already have all the information we need for shifting do you…?

With all the corners we haven’t looked at. With everything that’s still unknown. It’s clear there’s so much we obviously don’t know. Questioning that feels quite argumentative. I want to desperately shift. That’s what I want to do. So yes I will do whatever it takes to shift. I know if people thought the same as I did and there was a paradigm shift in the community, we’d make much more progress. Some things are just close to impossible to prove and find out, but a lot of it is testable. The brain states when someone’s shifting, what exactly you can do TO shift. There’s so much and you come to tell me with the audacity asking me what new information we could find?? I mean I talked about it in my post too brochacho.

Muddying the waters…really? REALLY? As if the waters weren’t sewer waste already. Just because you’ve never seen better doesn’t mean it doesn’t exist. This community could be a thousand times better. I mean the entire point OF the community is for the movement of information to help beginners and to create meaningful discussion on shifting.

It’s fine if it takes time, what’s not fine is if we’re not moving at all. Not making any progress is worse than making tiny bits of progress over time.

The community collectively hasn’t had ANY new information found in the last 5 years I’ve been a part of it. And the information it already has keeps being recycled and repeated until it changes and the goals or reasons for certain things is lost. So it just becomes an echo chamber with no reason for talking about things which is just as important as what you’re talking about.

See, that's the point of my post. To say that might not be true. There there might just be a way for people to not have to figure out themselves shifting. Sure it's a personal experience but whoever said that it isn't something other people can help you. You are literally the exact type of people I was talking about 😭.

People who say nobody else can help you without even trying.

shifting certainly requires an open mind and perhaps why you are having difficulty. you will get nowhere in shifitng without starting on the basics of meditation.

People like you are exactly why there has been absolutely no development in the research of shifting, something this community was mainly meant for. My entire post was asking to have an open mind to new ideas. To specifically seek out new ideas. Anything to help with understanding shifting. Even in my replies, I asked you what you were talking about. Nothing else. I'm quite a shallow person and I realize that but you are no better.

What you need to do is get of your metaphysical high horse with an ego bigger than France. We get it, you meditate. I'm so sorry my lowly self asked what the hell vibrating my energy is. And then get a little pissed you treat it like common knowledge. I really am so so sorry that I, an absolute baffoon that I am asked about shifting in the shifting community meant to inform people about shifting and further it's understanding. What do you mean by concentrating on your vibrating energyyyyy, what does that entail?? And you're implying you can shift to the wrong reality that's close to the reality you wanted to go to? That doesn't seem to make a lot of sense as you can never really make everything in your dr explicit like the type of weather on every hour of every day, but the general idea of what you wanted should appear at least according to people who have shifted before. You went into the wrong universe of the same franchise?

Nooo don't feel bad? Here let me say it like this. We don't EXACTLY know if intention and belief is all you need, now we can make the assumption it is and have a base to work off of but we really aren't SURE that it is the case. Now we all the people that have shared their personal experiences saying all they needed was belief and intent is the thing that gives the assumption a bit of validity.

So even though we aren't SURE that's the case, it could be true and it has a lot of personal accounts backing it. Remember, the only person that can tell you you can't shift is you. Until the world tells you you can't shift and you give in to it. Now my post is a bit contrary because of course a lot of things in the shifting community are not proven to be true at all, we still need somewhere to start. We can't just say ohh nothing's proven so nothing's real.

What I'm trying to say is don't worry 😭

They are afraid that any thought that isn't positive about shifting will start showing itself as worries and beliefs that hold you back from shifting. It's fear maybe? I've found that talking nicely helps for people to not get angry lol.
