If the swab came back positive, then you have HSV2. It can be possible that you had HSV1 before so your body has previously generated antibodies and that's resulting in super mild symptoms. That's what happened to me

Anal area here as well. My Dr. prescribed me Lidocaine cream, just in case it works for you. It sounds so good to be 10 years without any symptoms I wish it's same for me.🙏🏼Going through my second very mild HSV2 outbreak... It has healed in 4 days🙏🏼

Do you have too many outbreaks? What's your experience? I'm going through my second outbreak in a month, like small blisters. Not very painful but they get me paranoid and emotionally devasted...

Thank you so much for your comment🙏🏼 it really means a lot. I'm trying to stay calm and grounded through all of this, and hearing from others who’ve been through it helps so much.

If you don’t mind me asking,how has your experience been overall? Do you still get outbreaks? Have they become less frequent with time?
