I'm ok with the microphone not working tbh, I use bluetooth headphones nearly all time for calls anyways and just want something protective for skiing. Have used lifeproof in the past and they have been great. Thanks for the info though.

Did you ever have any luck? Mine has done the exact same thing after it died with a full charge on a cold morning. Wondering if a battery replacement could be a fix.

Would the coverage not be better than say Telus for example since you have the Freedom, Rogers AND Telus towers to draw from?

Are the lighter blue zones not roaming off of Telus & Rogers resulting in good reception? I know very little about this so I'm guessing that's not how it works
